About Project
Client re-appointed Metro Remedial to carry out remedial repairs to another part of the building. Works were required to the external two staircases and remedial repairs to two windows.
This required;
- Scaffolding for access to both areas
- Corrosion repairs to steel posts
- Concrete spalling repairs with reinforcing steel corrosion treatment
- Replacement of rusted steel supports
- Render repairs
- Painting of stairs, soffits and sides
- Waterproofing of all stairs with trafficable membrane
- Unit 10 internal repairs due to water ingress
- Re-pointing to brickwork
- Repair two windows including sealing, weatherproofing and painting
- External spraying of brickwork with water repellent membrane
- Internally prepare, render and paint water damaged walls and ceiling
