About Project

Client re-appointed Metro Remedial to carry out remedial repairs to another part of the building. Works were required to the external two staircases and remedial repairs to two windows.

This required;

  • Scaffolding for access to both areas
  • Corrosion repairs to steel posts
  • Concrete spalling repairs with reinforcing steel corrosion treatment
  • Replacement of rusted steel supports
  • Render repairs
  • Painting of stairs, soffits and sides
  • Waterproofing of all stairs with trafficable membrane
  • Unit 10 internal repairs due to water ingress
  • Re-pointing to brickwork
  • Repair two windows including sealing, weatherproofing and painting
  • External spraying of brickwork with water repellent membrane
  • Internally prepare, render and paint water damaged walls and ceiling
